Global Private Networking is a service with which users can enjoy true private networks in an isolated environment. The connection between different LayerStack instances will be under a private and high capacity private network between different regions or the same region, that isolate your servers and filter public access to secure your sensitive data.

Initial Setup of Global Private Networking

You must manually modify the network settings with your preferred IP through the console for the Global Private Networking to be functional.

Regional Availability

Global Private Networking is available in Hong Kong, Tokyo & Singapore region.

Owner Purchase Global Private Networking Service, Enable Global Private Networking, View Global Private Networking, Terminate Global Private Networking Service

Limits

  • For using private networking within the same region, assigning the Cloud servers with the same private networking IP group (VLAN) is required.

  • Global Private Networking is not supported between Cloud Servers in Los Angeles data center.

Quick Start Guide


Subscribe Global Private Networking

  1. Log in to LayerPanel , go to the Deploy section and select your preferred region for applying subscription.


Enable Private Networking

  1. Go to Services and Networking section, select that VLAN (E.g. VLAN-Hong Kong-1234) under Private Networking section.

  2. Choose your required servers for using Private Networking of that region. After completing this step, you can see that the number of Linked Servers will be increased for Local Private Networking.

  3. Log in to your server and start to configure private networking manually by referring to the tutorial for each of your Cloud Servers that need Private Networking.


Enable Global Private Networking

  1. Go to Services and Networking section, click +create and input the name of this global VLAN under Global Private Networking section.

  2. Click Manage and Add Network, assign the available VLAN from different region into this global connection. After completing this step, you can see that the number of Linked Network will be increased for Global Private Networking.

  3. Log in to your server and start to configure private networking manually by referring following tutorial for each of your Cloud Servers that need Global Private Networking.
