LayerStack’s object storage is given a unique identifier and is stored in a flat memory model, it can enable users to store and retrieve any amount of data at any time or place, giving access to highly scalable, fast, reliable, and inexpensive data storage. It can also be easily optimizable, organizable and configurable to support a wide range of organizational, Business and compliance-specific data management requirements.

Object-based storage will help to contribute to the following advantages:

1) Buckets: It stores information as Objects inside buckets. Objects can be files or any metadata that may describe the file. Files can be stored easily in Buckets and set permissions while uploading.

2) Scalability: There is no upper limit of data storage limit. Each object can have a size maximum of up to 20TB.

3) Sharing: Objects can be easily subjected to sharing with selected users or public access with permissions

4) Metadata: Each object stored, be that may any file/data itself, its metadata, object global unique id will be available.
