Global Private Networking Overview

A dedicated VLAN that users can enjoy true private networks in an isolated environment. The connection between different LayerStack instances will under a private and high capacity private network between different regions or same region, that isolate your servers and filter public access to secure your sensitive data.

Initial Setup of Global Private Networking

You must manually modify the network settings with your preferred IP through the console for the Global Private Networking to be functional.

Regional Availability

Global Private Networking is available in Hong Kong, Tokyo & Singapore region.

  • For using private communication within the same region, assigning to same private networking IP group for those Cloud Servers is required.

  • Global Private Networking is not supported between Cloud Servers in Los Angeles datacenter currently.

Quick Start Guide

Enable Global Private Networking

  1. Log in to LayerPanel , go to the Deploy section and select your preferred region for applying subscription.

  2. After the subscription is activated, you may go to Services section and select Networking option. Click Create option and input the preferred name for the Global Private Networking. Once it is created, you may click it and assign your preferred vlan from different regions and making over 2 vlan can be connected by same private connection for communication globally.

  3. Now you may go to Services section again and select your required servers for using Private Networking, and then click Enable Private Networking option which operating the selected vlan for this server.

  4. Log in to your server and start to configure private networking manually by referring following tutorial for each of your Cloud Servers which need Global Private Networking.
